Douglas L. Hopkins of Bay departed this life Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the age of 88 years, 6 months and 29 days. He was born Tuesday, February 15, 1938 in Wynne, AR to the late Willard and Balcom Hopkins and lived in Bay and formerly of Los Angeles, CA. He was a veteran of US Army and retired sales rep for U.S.C.P. and a member of Bay Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Redmon Hopkins; one sister, Willowdine Hopkins, one brother, Ralph Hopkins and his parents. He is survived by one son, Dane Hopkins. Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 10:00 am. at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR with Mitch Sparks officiating.
