Charles Verlin Marshall

Charles Verlin Marshall 86, of Trumann departed this life August 1, 2026, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born January 10, 1940, in Sedgwick, AR to the late, Verlin and Audrey Deen Marshall. He was a member of NEA Baptist Church in Trumann. He loved making walking sticks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doralene, his parents, a grandchild, a great-grandchild, two sisters and one brother. He is survived by daughter, Kathy (Larry) Mangrum of Trumann; two sons, Wayne Marshall and Michael Marshall, both of Trumann; two sisters, Martha Ford of Trumann; Jeanette Gardner of Katy, TX; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 —7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral with Rev. John Dillinger and Rev. Rick Kimery officiating. Burial will follow at Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick, AR under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Scott Mangrum, Jeffrey Marshall, Dylan Willbanks, Michael Marshall, Case Willbanks, Zakary Highfill.
