Glenda Mae Osment, of Benton, AR departed this life Saturday, October 17, 2026 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Little Rock, AR at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 1 day. She was born Tuesday, July 16, 1946 in Harviell, MO to the late Oscar and Grethel King Hart. She was a retired sales clerk and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Don Osment; two sons, Bradley Clayton and Bryan Clayton; one daughter, Linda Kay Osment; and three brothers, Gene Hart, Frank Hart, and James Hart; She is survived by one son, Terrance (Rachel) Clayton of Portage, MI; one sister, Kay (Roger) Bridges; six grandchildren, Nolan Clayton, Monica Clayton, Marshall Clayton, Brayden Clayton, Valeri Clayton and James Daniel Tarvin; four great-grandchildren, Bentlee Monette, Emilee Byrd, Parker Tarvin and Marleigh Tarvin. The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct 24th from 1:00 til 2:00 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, AR. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Wynndel King officiating.
