Dessie Irene Baine

Mrs. Dessie Irene Baine, 89 of Trumann, AR, died, Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Trumann Health and Rehab. She was born in Caledonia, Miss., and had lived in the Harrisburg area her lifetime. Mrs. Baine was a homemaker and a member of the Burch Street Church of God. Mrs. Baine was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Baine, one brother, James Vail, one grandson, Gary Vaughn and was the daughter of the late Robert Gillean and Eva Stevens Vail. Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Vaughn of Antioch, CA., and Ruby Marshall of Trumann; one sister, Pearl Kutsey of Marked Tree; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren. . Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Trumann with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg. Pallbearers will be Bobby McPherson, Buddy Spence, Jonathan Whitlatch, James Britnell, Dewayne Campbell, and Lynn Hetler.
