Ronnie Lee Armstrong
January 7, 1954 - July 11, 2010

Mr. Ronnie Lee Armstrong was born on Thursday, January 7, 1954 son of the late Larry Gaston and Goldie Christine South Armstrong. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at UAMS in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 56 years 6 months and 4 days. He was born in Marked Tree, Ark. and had lived his lifetime in Trumann. Mr. Armstrong was an employee in the maintenance department for Venture Properties and was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Bobby Ray Armstrong and his parents. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Linda Armstrong of the home; one son, Tim Armstrong of Trumann; two daughters, Julie Blagg and Jill Dye both of Trumann; two brothers, Larry Armstrong, Jr. and Frankie Armstrong both of Trumann; four sisters, Doris Johnson and Diane Dickerson both of Trumann, Regina Goodwin of Ashville, N.C., and Teresa Johnston of Marshall, Ark.; and six grandchildren, Erica, Neely, Trevar, Grayson, Jodi, and Paige, who were the light of his life. Funeral Service will be Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, Ark. Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Dye, Michael Blagg, Steve Franks, Larry Henderson, Jim Welch, and Terry Halfacre. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Henderson

    Linda, i spoke to you on the phone wed, but wonted to also write a few words of encourgement also my husband and i go to Trinty Babtist at Marked tree and weve been to maple grove several times. but like i said ronnie was a very nice person always. and a gentlman all the time i knew him i never heard him say nothing out of the way. to anyone and he always had a smile on his face. i will keep you and your family in my prayers. also i was married to Randys uncle jimmy. for about 17 years. i will go for now with deepest sympatheys to you all. linda taber blagg brooks.
