I remember what fun G.W. and Leisa, and all the Roach children, had when they got together. Your Mother has a special place in Heaven.

  8. Ken and Mary Kay Hendrix, Cabot, Ar. 72023 says

Kenny and I were so sad to hear the news of our dear friend. Janet was a sweet and caring soul and we have great memories from days gone by with her. Some of the best and worst times of our lives were spent together. Leisa and G.W. were youngsters with our children and we shared a lot of family fun. Leisa's son, Merritt carries on the name of our precious son. I remember how excited Janet was when her Merritt was born and she called to tell us what Leisa had decided to name him. We were touched. Now that our Merritt has passed, his name being carried on has even more significance in our lives. Our hearts go out to Leisa and G.W. and the entire family. The weather has prevented me from coming to the services as I can't brave the roads with my mother-in-law, Addie, who is with us now. Also, Kenny can not attend as he is in Kanas on business; so we send our sincere regrets for not being there with you at this time of sorrow. Our hearts and prayers are with you today. I know Janet loved her family dearly and that love carries on through her children and their's. We'll carry her in our hearts and memories.

She loved her children and grandchildren. Wonderful hours were spent talking about them and how proud she was of them. She had pictures of the grandchildren on her refrigerator and loved to tell the stories that went with each one. GW, I am so glad she spent those wonderful days with you. She called me to tell me how happy she was and about sleeping in the comfy bed. I love her so! I pray for you and the rest of the family. I wish there was something I could do. God be with you all. Being a tenant at Forrest Park Apts., I met Janet when I moved in. Seemed like we hit it off right away. She would help in any way she could with any problem. I can't begin to tell you how she will be missed. Not only was she my landlady, but she was a close friend. I have drove around her apt. probably a hundred times today and it finally hit me, I will not see her driving 5 miles down the street again. She never got in a hurry for anything. To me, she was one of a kind. We would sit and talk for hours. Every Friday afternoon, I would call her to remind her what day it was. She would say yes, I am off tomorrow. She never got tired of that. I will miss her terribly. With all my sympathies Peggy Stewart West Memphis, AR
