Shirley Mae Dye
November 27, 1950 - February 28, 2011

Mrs. Shirley Mae Dye was born on Monday, November 27, 1950 daughter of the late Henry and Ruby Clark Bushong. She died on Monday, February 28, 2011 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 60 years 3 months and 1 day. She was born in Jonesboro, Ark., and lived her lifetime in Trumann. Mrs. Dye was a Housewife and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers, and her parents. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Ronald Dye of the home; three sons, Ronnie Dye and Thaddeus Dye both of Trumann, and Booger Dye of Jonesboro; two daughters, Rhonda Dye White and Tiffany Dye Elliott both of Trumann; two brothers, Jimmy Bushong and Bill Bushong both of Paragould; two sisters, Mary Taylor of Jonesboro and Mollie Coffman of Kansas City, KS; 4 grandchildren, Jonah White, Sarah White, Trevar Dye, and Grayson Dye; and two great-grandchildren, Topanga Elliott and Lily Elliott. Funeral service will be Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Shaw and Rev. Jamey Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Ark. Active pallbearers will be Mark Walker, Brant Walker, Matthew Dye, Scott Bushong, Jesse Coffman, and Scott Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Smith and Brandon Smith. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Maple Grove Baptist Church 13509 Maple Grove Ln.
