Doris Pulley Adams
July 10, 1932 - March 16, 2011

Mrs. Doris Pulley Adams was born on Sunday, July 10, 1932 daughter of the late William Jasper and Mayme Coleman Pulley. She died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 78 years 8 months and 6 days. She was born in Bay, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a Retired Bank Teller and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trumann. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women and was also Sunday School Superintendent. Mrs. Adams was an avid golfer and was a member of the Ladies Association at Trumann Country Club. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Charles Adams, two brothers, Donald and Doug Pulley, one sister, Roseann Beck, and her parents. Survivors include three daughters, Vicki McClung (Gary) and Beth Taylor (Scott) all of Trumann and Lisa Lloyd (Terry) of Germantown, TN; one sister, Jan Morrison of Jonesboro, Ark; ten grandchildren, Clay, Audra, and Mallory McClung, Taylor, Jon Davis, and Gracie Lloyd, Daly, Zoey, and Brett Taylor, and Raven-Dawn Ham. Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Trumann with Rev. Charles Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Pallbearers will be Clay McClung, Jon Davis Lloyd, Brett Taylor, Michael Morrison, Matt Morrison, and Justin Willis. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church 220 Pine Ave. Trumann, AR 72472. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
