Mr. Joey Don Taylor, 39, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at his residence in Jonesboro, Ark. He was born May 3, 1971 in Flint, MI. Joey enjoyed all kinds of hunting and fishing and spending time with friends and family. Joey was loved by all who met him. He was also known for his great sense of humor and love of chocolate. Joey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandmother. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Jo Taylor, father, Donald Taylor of Trumann, and his sister, Angie Taylor of Jonesboro. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Roy Lee Burroughs of Manila and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, at Sand Springs Baptist Church in Damascus, Ark. from 11-1 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Sand Springs Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.
