Bobby C. Lawrence
October 16, 1938 - February 4, 2012

Mr. Bobby C. Lawrence was born on Sunday October 16, 1938 in Etowah to the late Albert and Jessie Lee (Jenkins) Lawrence. He died Saturday night February 5, 2012 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 73 years 3 months and 20 days. Mr. Lawrence was a Korean War Veteran, and he spent most of his life in Trumann where he enjoyed fishing, his grandchildren and aggravating those he loved. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Cathleen Lawrence; two brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Alline Byerly Lawrence of the home; daughters, Donna Plunk of Otwell, Teresa Boone of Paragould, Debra Henry of Trumann; two sisters, Sheila Carter of Wynne, Linda K Pipkin of Trumann; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Burial will be private. Pallbearers will be Junior Manley, Frankie Yeakey, Tommy Plunk, Melton Jr., and Patrick Byerly, Paul Barkley Rains Jr., and James and David Moore. Visitation will be Tuesday February 7 from 12:00 pm until service time at Thompson Funeral Home. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
