Floyd Lee Fleming

Mr. Floyd Lee Fleming of Trumann was born on Thursday, August 30, 1934, son of the late Carlton and Jewell Hazel Vick Fleming. He died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at the family residence, at the age of 77 years 5 months and 9 days. He was born in Baldwyn, Miss., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann and was formerly of Marked Tree. He was a retired welder for Newberry Company in West Memphis and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and his parents. Survivors include four daughters, Deana Maddox of Marked Tree, Candy Fleming of Marion, Tammy Presley of Hardy and Rita Sullivan of Trumann; five sons, Rusty Fleming of Trumann, David Fleming of Tupelo, Miss., Johnny Fleming of Booneville, Miss., James Fleming of Marion, and Chad Fleming of Blytheville; five sisters, Hazel Brooks of Satillo, Miss., Betty Moody of Trumann, Peggy Blair of Sherman, Texas, Judy Thomas of Dayton, Texas, and Brenda Chisholm of Tupelo, Miss.; two brothers, Jimmy Dale Fleming of Aurora, Ill., and Jerry Dean Fleming of Baldwyn, Miss.; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Saturday afternoon at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will be private at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.
