Ralph Ray Davis
November 27, 1926 - February 11, 2012

Mr. Ralph Ray Davis was born on November 27, 1926 to the late Harve (H.D.) and Jessie May Yeager Davis. He was born in Prentiss County, MS and left for his heavenly home from Jones County, Ms., on Saturday, February 11, 2012. He was preceded by his parents, five brothers and one sister. He is survived by hs loving wife of 64 years, Betty Lou Loggins Davis, one son, ricky Hoyle Davis and wife Cherri of Waterloo, IL, 2 daughters, Glenna Ellen Davis McComb and husband David of Laurel, Miss., Rhonda Gaye Davis Smith and husband Bruce of Twin Lake Michigan; one brother, Bruce Davis of Trumann. He is blessed with 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He is loved by so many and is an active member of Journey Baptist Church in Laurel, Miss. He served our country in WWII in Guam and was a Mason from Blytheville. You are invited to celebrate his life with us at Thompson Funeral Home, Trumann on Tuesday Feb. 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Larry Loggins and Dr. Tad Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Grandsons and granddaughters will serve as pallbearers with nephews as honorary pallbearers. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
