Marie Loveless Phillips

Mrs. Marie Loveless Phillips of Monette died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 5 days. She was born September 20, 1925 in Elkmont, Alabama to the late E. C. and Battie Elizabeth Sanderson Loveless, and had lived in Monette since 1976 and was formerly of Blytheville. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and a member of the 13th and Main Street Church of Christ in Blytheville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lee Phillips in 1999; two sisters, Nora Stewart and Cora Copeland; two brothers, Eugene Loveless and Carter Loveless; and her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Teena Browning and husband Mark of DeValls Bluff, Ark. and Treena Harp and husband Charley of Keystone Hieghts, Fla.; four grandchildren, Lane and Drake Browning, Daniel and Andra Harp; two sisters, Margaret Bandy and Mary Loveless, both of Trumann, and one brother, A. D. Loveless of Jonesboro. Funeral Services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Duane Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Bill Cathey, Bruce Daniels, Lynn Grizzle, Sam Medford, Norman Sage, and Tim Winterrowd.
