Mr. Raymond A. Wilson of Trumann died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the family residence, at the age of 75 years 4 months and 6 days. He was born Wednesday, December 9, 1936 to the late Raymond and Ethel Powers Wilson. Mr. Wilson was born in Blytheville, Ark., and had lived in Trumann for the past six years and was formerly of Lafayette, La. He was a security guard for Securitas in Jonesboro, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Providence Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, Woodrow Wilson and his parents. He is survived by is wife, Carmelita Hinch Wilson of the home; two sons, Michael Wilson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Marty Wilson of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-sons, Tracy Jackson of Trumann and Kevin Jackson of Charlottesville, VA; two step-daughters, Lisa Kirker of Bono and Nancy Ferguson of Jonesboro; two sisters, Betty Baker of Cherokee Village and Sandra Hardesty of Houston, TX.; 2 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Pankey, Doug Timbs, Gary Pruitt, Tommy Anschultz Walter Marvel, Jim Fowler, Charles Pankey, Kelly Walters, Mike Hudgens and Benton Whitman. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 7 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Ark. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
