Suloney Mae Long Wadlington
November 1, 1925 - April 19, 2012

Mrs. Suloney Mae Wadlington of Trumann died Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 18 days. She was born Sunday, November 1, 1925 in Lepanto, Ark., to the late Henry Bernard and Mae Bell Walker Coats. Mrs. Wadlington was a housewife and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann and was a member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Long in 1963 and her second husband, Raymond Milas Wadlington in 1998; two sisters, five brotSurvivors include one daughter, Janice Fagan of Trumann; two sons, Qunion Long of Cherokee Village and Doug Long of Marion; 8 grandchildren, Scott Long, Pam (Long) Ellis (Curtis), Michael Fagan, David Fagan (LeAnn), Shawn Fagan, Amanda (Long) Carpenter (Michael), Beth (Long) Whisler (Brandy), and Amy (Long) Sysak. 16 great-grandchildren, Shailah Fagan, Collin Fagan, JaBeth Fagan, Jordon Fagan, Lexi Jackson, Kasie Fagan, Jacob Fagan, Trevor Fagan, Trey Arnold, Adam (Samatha) Redd, Mendy Long, Kristin Long, Willow Whisler, Hayden Whisler, Austin Carpenter and Maximus Carpenter, one great-great-granddaughter, Claire Redd and special friend, Glen Deaton. Funeral Services will be Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Viva Drive Church of Christ in Trumann, with Joe Spangler and Bill Willard officiating. Burial will follow in the Potters Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto, Ark., under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Pallbearers will be Leroy May, Harry Vredingburgh, Dwight England, Joe Mitchell, Quenton Fletcher and Gary Hill. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    To my family, I am so sorry for the loss of my sweet Aunt! I have many wonderful memories of her from my childhood, when my Daddy would bring us to visit Trumann!
