David Riddle
May 10, 1946 - June 1, 2012

Mr. David Riddle, 66, of Steele, MO, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Riddle was born May 10, 1946 in Detroit, Mich., and had lived in Steele since 1976 and was formerly of Trumann and Jonesboro. He was a technician for Southwest Bell Telephone and a member of the Armorel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one brother, C.L.

    We will miss David greatly. He was a true friend and a all around great man. We both alway's loved to talk and visit with him and he was alway's a joy to be around. I'm glad to say that I was able to have meet him and considered him to be a true friend.F

    Karen, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I had the pleasure of speaking with Dennis just a few months ago about our family genealogy (I'm Jim Johnson's oldest daughter). I remember Dad always speaking fondly of Dennis and that he was grateful you all were in touch over the years. May God bless you and keep you close to Him during this time.

    Karen & family -Like everyone who grew up knowing David and you, we loved you both. You seemed to just "fit" together perfectly as a couple way back then and as the years passed by this was further confirmed. I regret not having been in your presence more through the years because it would have certainly been a blessing. Now, life will be different, but ah what good memories you no doubt have to look back on and praise God for! May your faith continue to sustain you as you move forward with your life knowing that you have loved and been loved by a very good man.

    It has been many years since I have seen David. Fletcher Riddle was my dad's father (my dad is Jim Johnson) before he was adopted, and I only visited Fletcher and Mildred a few times in Arkansas and was very young those times. I guess the last time I was there was for Fletcher's funeral. So sorry for your loss and may God bless your family. I wish we had had the chance to know each other better.
