Nancy Odell Williams Lowery
March 8, 1944 - June 25, 2012

Mrs. Nancy Odell Williams Lowery, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 17 days. She was born on March 8, 1944 in Fayetteville, TN to Annie Bell McWhirter and George Pope Williams and was one of thirteen children. She retired after 28 years of service in the Beecher School District in Flint, MI. She enjoyed walking, gardening, shopping, reading and spending time with family. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jackson Leon Lowery, three daughters; Vickie L. (Louis A.) Perez of Jacksonville, FL, Karen R (Kenneth C.) Zoromski of Davison, MI, Tina M. (Ronald G) Vest of Harrisburg, AR and one son; Richard A (Shelly M.) Lowery of Morrice, MI, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is survived by four sisters; Frances Lowery of Harrisburg, AR, Linda Collins of Huntsville, AL, Judy Garner of Paragould, AR and Debra Benson of Trumann, AR as well as four brothers; Charles and Barry Williams of Trumann, AR, Michael Williams of Jonesboro, AR and Timothy Williams of Trumann, AR . She was preceded in death by four brothers. Funeral services will be Friday, June 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, Ark. with Rev. Paul Hale and Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children
