Linda Kay Scroggins Woods
September 24, 1949 - August 22, 2012

Mrs. Linda Kay Woods, 62, of Trumann, died Wednesday, August 22, at the family residence. She was born and a lifetime resident of Trumann, Ark., housewife and was a member of Melton Ave. Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband Sidney Ray Woods; one daughter, Marilyn Ann Woods and was the daughter of the late C. A. and Mary Ellen Miller Scroggins. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Allen Woods of Trumann, one daughter Donna Kay Frego of Jonesboro; one sister: Carolyn Marie Lowery of Trumann; two brothers, Johnny Wayne Scroggins of Cabot, Ark. and Donnie Lynn Scroggins of Trumann; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Nolan Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro Ark. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Woods, Tim Frego, Donnie Scroggins, Cody Stevens, Terry Smith and Johnny Scroggins. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Fagan and Marshall Williams. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online register book can be signed www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
