Jackie Lee "Duke" Conway

Mr. Jackie Lee (Duke) Conway, 68, of Trumann died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Trumann, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a retired factory worker, veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a member of the Friendship Assembly of God. Mr. Conway was preceded in death by one daughter, Wendy Conway and his parents, Ray and Retha Raney Conway.He is survived by his wife Carolyn Foshee Conway of the home; one daughter, Lisa and husband Shorty Jones of Harrisburg; two sons, Jason and wife Tena Taylor of Trumann and Kenny and wife Inge Leggett of Harrisburg; one brother, Tommy Conway of Harrison; his brother-in-law and wife, Tommy and Pam Foshee of Brookland; 8 grandchildren, Alexus Taylor, Kara Taylor, Justin Jones and wife Alex, Jessica Walker and husband Wes, Josh Baker and wife Kristin, Julia Jones (B. J. Carter) Jeremy Leggett and Michelle Leggett; 4 great-grandchildren, Kayden Baker, Jace Jones, Braelynn Walker and Jace LeggettFuneral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. James Moore and Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark. Pallbearers will be Kirk Long, Shannon Tribble, Larry Allred, Anthony Renshaw, Barry Vincent, Scott Foshee, Jackie McHalffey and Wes Osment. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Holeman, Larry Tribble, Steve Edwards (Nick), Savannah Chambers, Joey Fagan, Buttons McHalffey, Jason Fagan and Gerald Smith. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. An online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.

    Carolyn and family, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Jackie, ur husband, Dad, Granddaddy and the rest of the family. I had the pleasure of knowing him for many years. I worked with him many years at Roach Manufacturing Corporation. His children were close to same age as mine. I am deeply sorry. He was a good man.
