Mrs. Emma Dale Adams, 72, of Trumann died Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at the family residence at the age of 72 years, 9 months, and 9 days. Mrs. Adams was born Monday, January 29, 1940 in Jonesboro, Ark. to the late W.C. and Pearl Blalock Triplett and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a homemaker and a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents W.C. and Pearl Blalock Triplett and one sister, Billie Ann Pennington. She is survived by her husband, of 44 years Bobby D. Adams of the home, two daughters; Angela Flippo (Brad) of Walnut Ridge, Alicia Everhart (Jimbo) of Trumann; one sister, Doris Graham of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Drew & Ty Flippo and Connor Everhart. Funeral services will be Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Forbis officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge. Pallbearers will be Gary Smith, Mike Wallace, Bradley Wallace, Dennis Morgan, Claud Greer, Donnie Taylor, Tip Shipp, and Scotty Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Graham, Mark Graham, Josh Everhart, Mike Pennington, Gary Bass, Greg Bass, Jeb Bass, Jonathan Martin, and Gary McClung. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online register book can be signed at thompsonfunealhome.net.
