Mrs. Carolyn Faye Vinson, of Trumann, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 60 years, 0 month, and 7 days. She was born Thursday, November 6, 1952 in Harrisburg, Ark. to the late Robert and Gracie Baine Allred. She lived in Trumann for the past 26 years and was formerly of Spokane WA. Mrs. Vinson was a homemaker and member of Church of God of Prophecy in Trumann. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Paul Allred and Larry Allred. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Larry Glen Vinson of the home, three sons, Glen David Vinson of Trumann, Larry Duane Vinson of Morrilton, Ark., and Michael Wayne Vinson of Trumann, three sisters, Alberta Smith of Trumann, Shirley Goodhart of Nashville, TN., Dean Crews of Bono, Ark., and one brother, Bobby Allred of Blytheville, and two grandchildren, Christian Vinson, and Emrey Vinson. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy on Christy Street Ext. in Trumann with Bro. Larry Tribble and Bro. Jerry Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge. Pallbearers will be Rickey Vinson, Christian Vinson, Wayne Vinson, I. J. Holder, Paul Allred, Tyler Northcott. Honorary pallbearers will be Miles Doyle, Jerry Allred, Gary Clayton, Bryan Northcott, Lynn Moss, and Bobby Allred. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Church of God of Prophecy on Christy Street Ext. in Trumann.

    Dear Family, I wanted to express my deepest sympathy and concern for you and also share with you the wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. As you grieve Carolyn’s death, please reflect on the hope in question, which comes from Jehovah God. By means of the Bible, He allows us to understand how He’ll eliminate death for good one day and bring our dead loved ones back to life again. This is evident in Scriptures like (Isaiah 25: 8), (John 5: 28), (1 Corinthians 15:26), (Revelation 21:3 and 4), which can comfort you in this time of sorrow. God’s promises are guaranteed because He cannot lie (Titus 1: 2). Moreover John 11 verses 11-14, 39, 43, and 44 attests that Jesus, whom God appoints to bring the dead back to life, can do it since he demonstrated that when he resurrected Lazarus and two other people when he was on earth. So as you await Carolyn’s resurrection, please heed Jesus’ counsel at John 17 verse 3 by taking steps to gain accurate knowledge of Jehovah and Jesus through a FREE Bible study with the Witnesses. In John 5 verse 39, Jesus himself explains that such study is imperative for those, who wish to have everlasting life one day here on earth, which will become a paradise where you can be re-united with Carolyn again in a world free of SICKNESS, VIOLENCE, WAR, OLD AGE etc… (Isaiah 33:24), (Ps 37: 9-11 and 29), (Psalms 46: 8 and 9), (Job: 33:25).

    Carolyn found a long fight but her healing was not to be. I am sorry for the families lost and pray that God will comfort you in your grief. Larry having lost my spouse 5 years ago I know you will be lonely sometimes but God is here to comfort you as he has done me. May all of you have peace with her passing. God Bless.

    LARRY AND FAMILY I JUST READ THIS ON FACE BOOK. I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT CAROLYN. SHE WAS A FINE LADY. I REALLY ENJOYED THE DAYS WE SPENT TOGETHER AT DIALYSIS.
