Larry Lenroe Moody
August 18, 1954 - December 1, 2012

Mr. Larry Lenroe Moody of Trumann, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 58 years, 3 months, and 13 days. He was born August 18, 1954 in Trumann to the late Buford Lenroe and Emogene Dempsey Moody and had lived all of his life in Trumann. Mr. Moody was a electrician for Columbus Forest Products in Trumann and member of the Providence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda Gail Watson Moody of the home; two daughters, Kimberly (Rodney) Sims and Amy (Jake) Qualls both of Trumann; four grandchildren, Danielle Webb, Keiron Sims, Jude Qualls and Harper Sunshine Qualls; Father-In-Law, Walter Watson; Brother and Sister In-Laws, James and Anita Holt, Jeff Walker, Terry and Gina Watson, Roger and Debby Watson and Randy Watson. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Bobby Brooks and Rev. Bob Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg, Ark. Pallbearers will be Zac Qualls, Robbie Deason, Andy Deason, Jason Watts, Earl Addison, Luke Jackson, Thomas Handy and Bob Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Runyan, Wesley Runyan, Bob Tate, James Holt, Joe Clemmons and Pete Porterfield. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at Thompson Funeral Home.     I've known Larry for almost 50 years. He lived next door to me, when his family was in Trumann. We spent many summers together, shooting bb guns, hiking down the railroad, climbing trees, and eating green apples. He was a good friend and very much a part of my childhood.

    Dearest Linda,Words cannot express my deepest sympthies for your loss. Larry was a very kind, compasionate man. I know after 39 years you will feel lost, but remember he is in the hands of the Lord now and is feeling no more pain. Our Father will give you the strength to get through this and to carry on.
