  5. Douglas Lynn Manley (Lynn) (Little Doug), Bloomington, Illinois says

My Grandma Norris (Grandma), what can I say that everyone who has had the pleasures of knowing her doesn't already know. The lord has her spirt but I have many, many memories and I'm so grateful for them all. In the late 70s and early 80s Grandma and Grandpa's home was a second home for me and my Brother Kenny. We spent a lot of time there hanging out with uncle's Greg and Dean. Grandma always had Ice Tea and food cooking. Her fried chicken put KFC's chicken to shame. Grandma didn't always approve of most things we did, however she would allow us to learn from our mistakes. I think one of her favorite sayings (when we messed up) was "OOOOH MY WORD, you boys", or "WELL I DECLAR". She was a very patient and compassionate strong woman and I will miss her. I only wish I could be here today to say good bye. I'm sorry that I can't. I love you Grandma, rest peacefully and watch over us. Until we meet again, goodbye. With Love, your Grandson, Lynn

  6. Shirley McClaughlin Redd, Jonesboro says

A long time family and church friend has gone home to her reward. To all the family I say I am sorry for your loss but we know heaven is real as she was working to go there. She is rejoicing with so many she knew in years past such as my parents and others. You are in my prayers. Rest in Peace my friend until I meet you again some day soon.
