  6. Karen Crabtree, Lee's Summit, Missouri says

I've known Lillian since I was in the 2nd Grade in Lee's Summit with Her Daughter Tammy who was my best friend. My Mother & I were very sorry to hear of her passing. The comfort that I feel is she is no longer in any Earthly Pain. She had a very hard life, but there is no doubt that for All who knew her she was one tough woman. SHE HAD TO BE. Her happiness was Barry, Tammy & Shonda first & then her Mother, sisters & brother. I hated to see them move to Arkansas but in God's mysterious ways, He led her & her children to R.C. Trussell who not only loved her & treated her with the kindness & respect she had never known, but Carl became the kind of father her children had never known & loved them as his own. They were thrilled to become Grandparents & the only down side for them were that Barry's daughters were in MO so they didn't get to watch them grow up like they did Tammy & Shonda's children, but their love was the same for them. Christmas Cards tell of their love & pride of all of their Children & Grandchildren. I believe that God also put their Grandson Bryce in their lives as another son who, living there was able to care for Carl & Lillian at home, together and they loved & appreciated him for that. My Mother & I Pray that Lillian is at peace now & in the loving hands of Her God...With Carl by her side. And we pray for peace, understanding & good memories for her family. Virginia & Karen Crabtree
