Earl L. Holley, Jr.
June 15, 1953 - June 14, 2026

Earl Holley, Jr., of Trumann passed away at home June 14, 2026 at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 30 days. He was born June 15, 1953 by Dr. Smith to Bud and Leoma Holley. He married Diane Qualls in November of 1972. Together, they raised three daughters: Michelle (Jeff) Sullivan of Jonesboro, Angie (Eric) Lowery of Harrisburg, and Mary (Brandon) Clanton of Searcy. He has been described as a “character” and that he was! He loved working with the public while working at Speedway Sales and wheelin’ and dealin’ in the front yard. Earl was a Sgt. in the United States Air Force. Earl was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church at Lunsford. Those who passed before him include his wife, mother, father, and sister, Joann Davis. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are very thankful for those that helped us during his short illness but we especially would like to thank Ms. Carolyn Benson. We could not have done it without her. Services will convene at the Arkansas National Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dayl Hogan officiating. In lieu of flowers please consider St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Shriner's Children Hospital. Online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    I sure am going to miss Earl , we worked together at Central Ford , we made so many trips picking up cars and trucks. Earl is one of a kind, I sure am going to miss him , but I know he is in heaven reunited with his true love Diane. Rest in peace Earl ! The man, the myth, the legend, forever in our hearts and memories.
