Kathy Lynn Hendrix Gott of Jonesboro departed this life Monday, April 20th at the family residence at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 17 days. She was born Tuesday, February 3, 1959 in Jonesboro to the late Charles and Kathryn Privett Hendrix and lived most of life in Jonesboro and was formerly of Trumann. Kathy loved to shop, scrapbooking, going to concerts, studying her bible, sewing and rescuing dogs. She was a member of Highland Dr. Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shawn Gott; one sister, Susan Thompson; one brother, Charles Hendrix, Jr., and her parents. She is survived by one son, Nate Gott of Bono, AR; one brother, Robert (Teresa) Hendrix of Trumann; one niece, Brianna Thompson; one great nephew, Brewer Malone and one great niece, Bria Casper. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Highland Drive Baptist Church in Jonesboro. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Johnny Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
