Donald Wayne "Donnie" Stacy
April 3, 1953 - April 20, 2026

Donald Wayne Stacy of Smithville departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 73 years and 17 days. He was born Friday, April 3, 1953 in Jonesboro, AR, to the late Fred C. “Buck” Stacy and Imogene Qualls Stacy. Donnie was a welder and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, playing drums, grilling, reading, and he loved talking about the Lord. He was preceded in his death by one sister and his parents. He is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Mary Jane Stacy: three sons, Shawn Stacy (Jinger) of Smithville, AR, Nathan Stacy of Smithville, AR and Christopher Caleb Stacy (Esther Faye) of Ocean Springs, MS; one sister, Carolyn Joan Moon of Trumann; 6 grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Talon, Gavin and Gage; and 2 great grandchildren, Charlie and Jack. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 23rd from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.     Was sad to find this news. Donnie was always a lot of fun . Back in the day when we all rode motorcycle he would get a new part or accessory and at that time had no patents . He would to install then only to throw tools a a fit then ask me or someone to help. Always intended to keep in touch but sadly we didn't , Rest in peace Brother
