Donald Ray “Donnie” Hurt of Trumann departed this life on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the family residence surrounded by his family at the age of 55 years, 8 months and 15 days. He was born Monday, July 20, 1970 in Memphis, TN and lived his lifetime in Trumann. Donnie was a truck driver and a member of Freedom Church. He enjoyed playing music with family and friends and going to the coffee shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Irene Floyd Hurt. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Lisa VanDyke Hurt; two sons, Brandon Hurt and Justin Hurt; seven daughters, Cheyenne (Jose) Evett of Trumann, DJ Hurt (Dylan Walker) of Trumann, Katlyn Hurt of Trumann, Khloe Hurt of Trumann, Ashley (William) Cassidy of Osceola, Savannah Manes of Caraway and April Byard of Swifton; one sister, Donna (John) Cain; one brother, Danny (Terrie) Hurt; and 15 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Evans, Greg McAnally, Taylor Morgan, Denis Morgan, Sonny Parrish, Jason Taylor, Michael Malloy and Robert Massey. Honorary pallbearers are his loving nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, April 6th from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Freedom Church, 27654 W Main, Trumann. A celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Revs. Kenneth Doke and Ralph Guthrie officiating. Burial will be private. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
