Brenda Sue Russell departed this life Sunday, March 29th, in Trumann, AR at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 5 days. She was born Tuesday, November 24, 1959 in Harrisburg to the late Willie and Georgia Jones Barnes and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. Brenda was a retired CNA and a member of Willis Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Russell; one daughter, Christy Russell; grandson, Jonathan Smith; and 1 sister. She is survived by two sons, Bobby (April) Russell, Sr. and Jackie Russell both of Trumann; one sister, Sharon Barnes of Bradford; one brother, George (Caroline) Barnes of Walnut Ridge; 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Brown, Daniel Tucker, Dale Cooper, Jake Pierce, Bobby Russell, Jr. and Logan Solida. Honorary pallbearers are George Barnes and Tony Hicks. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 in the chapel with Rev. Nicky Rhoads officiating.
