George Lee Henry

George  Lee Henry of Trumann, departed this life Friday, November 14, 2025  at Baptist Health in Little Rock, AR at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 19 days. He was born in Alligator, Mississippi and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann.  Mr. Henry was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by four sisters, Francis Flower, Shirley Scott, Judy Norys and Connie Coin; one brother, Leonard Robert Henry and his parents, John Arthur and Ethel Mae Huggins Henry.    He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Browning Henry of the home, one daughter, Miranda (Bryan) Lawson of Wynne, AR; one granddaughter, Katlyn (Paul) Sanders of Memphis, TN; one great-grandson, Landon Sanders of Memphis, TN;  two sisters, Lana Manes of Trumann, Lisa Knight of Willford, AR; four brothers, Tommy Henry of Willford, AR, Leslie Henry, John Henry and Bruce Henry all of Trumann. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 18th  from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home .  A celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Ronnie Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR. Active pallbearers will be John Henry III, Jeffery Henry, Shawn Doyle, Tony Doyle, Jason Coin and Joe Henry.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Manes and J.R. Manley.
