Betty Ann Shores of Trumann, departed from this life Thursday, October 23, 2025 at St. Bernards Medical Center  in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 78 years, 8 months, and 11 days.  She was born Wednesday, February 12, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Coy and Elizabeth Hrezo Henderson. She was a 1965 graduate of Jonesboro High School. She was employed by St. Bernards for over 40 years and was extensively proud of her job there as a Histotechnologist.  Betty loved to read, and was a  member of First Baptist Church where she was involved with many things around the church and taught Sunday School for many years.        She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary Shores of the home; two daughters, Keiley Blair of  Jonesboro, Amber (Matt) Moon of Trumann,  AR; sister, Mary Henderson of Jonesboro and brother, Bill (Darenthy) Henderson of Brookland. Visitation will be Tuesday October 28th from 5:00 till 6:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 1301 Hwy 69, Trumann, AR.   A Celebration of life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. John Maley officiating. Burial will be private. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneral home.net

    Ms. Betty was extremely helpful to me at work. AMMC never really knew her talent in Histology. She came out of retirement to help. She was such a lovely lady and a pleasure to work with. My love and prayers for her precious family. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace dear friend.
