Ima Jean Lansdell
September 10, 1944 - June 16, 2025

Ima Jean Lansdell of Trumann departed this life Monday, June 16th at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 6 days.  She was born Sunday, September 10, 1944 in and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  She owned Jean’s Ceramics and loved working at a daycare taking care of children and loved to cook. Jean was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lansdell; her parents, Lester and Ethel Rogers Sheppard; four sisters, Mary Phipps, Helen Purcell, Marie Kincaid Cagle, and Pat Ashley; and two brothers, Allen Pace and Bobby Sheppard.       She is survived by one daughter,  Jenna Hogan of Trumann; three granddaughters, Hayden Coin, Ariel Weaver and Brianna Weaver; and several nieces and nephews.         Pallbearers will be Jay Pippinger, Derek Pippinger, Danny Pippinger, Joey Sheppard, Randy Jeffers and Greg Green.       Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A celebration of life will follow in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Larry Loggins and Rev. Kevin Carter officiating.  Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
