Gail Brooks
December 25, 1946 - April 22, 2024

Gail Brooks passed away Monday, April 22nd at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 28 days.  She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO and lived most of her lifetime in the Trumann area.  She was employed by Walmart for over 35 years  and never had 2 days off in a row.  She was always off on Wednesdays and Sundays so she could attend church because church was a priority to her.  Gail was a member of Stone Ridge Church of Christ.  In her younger years she loved to travel, read, doing puzzles and riding roller coasters with her niece.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Edith Prichard Allen; one sister Vickie Allen, one great-nephew, Matthew Avery.       Gail is survived by one sister, Beverly Allen of Jonesboro; one nephew, Steve Poynor; one niece, Darlene (Barry) Avery of Jonesboro; special cousin Franklin and Sandy Prichard; and extended family. The family will receive friends from 1:00  -  2:00 Saturday at Stone Ridge Church of Christ in Jonesboro.  A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m.  with John Mundy officiating.   Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro. Pallbearers will be Phillip Cassidy, Matt Cossey, Trey Moody, Taylor Harbin, Kemuel Camp and Matt Sullivan.  Honorary pallbearers are the St. Bernard's Dialysis Center.
