Oma B. Weaks
April 5, 1932 - December 1, 2023

Mrs. Oma B. Weaks, 91, of Trumann, departed this life on Friday December 1, 2023 at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City.  She was born on April 5, 1932 in Ravenden Springs, AR and had lived in Trumann most of her lifetime. She was a former employee of the Singer Company, Salant and Salant and Parker Hannifin, she loved to cook for her family and was a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Weaks was the daughter of the late Will and Eva Wicker Grimes.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Weaks, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.                          She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Johnny) Blagg of Trumann and Vicky (Jerry) Stracener of Jonesboro; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.       The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 5, 2023 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A celebration of her life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Dalton Mills officiating.  Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas.      Pallbearers will be Shane Blagg, Kevin Blagg, Jeremy Stracener, Zak Stracener, Aaron Wheeler and Earnie Link.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Stracener and Johnny Blagg.      Online guest book can be signed at  www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
