Mamie Beatrice Blasingame

Bea Blasingame departed this life on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Rockford, Michigan at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 29 days. Bea was born Monday, December 23, 1935 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late James A. and Jennie Belle Crocker.Bea was active in her church and served for many years as Ladies Auxiliary President, Sunday School teacher (50+ years), and Song Leader. She was a fervent witness who led many souls to Christ.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Blasingame, her sister Virginia Cooper, and her brother Jim Crocker.      She is survived by one son Gary Blasingame and his wife Darlene of Grand Rapids, Michigan; four daughters, Joan Mattson and her husband Chuck of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sheila Hale and her husband Dave of Traverse City, Michigan, Jan Adomaitis and her husband Dave of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Barb Raymond and her husband Bill of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her sister Imogene Baxter and her husband Mike of Searcy, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren, Ginger Martin, Matthew Blasingame, Ryan Mattson, Jonathan Mattson, Brett Rybiski, Shannon Quackenbush, Cailey Mosher, Trea Raymond, Taylor Raymond; and 17 great grandchildren.      Pall bearers: Ryan Mattson, Jonathan Mattson, Stevie Martin, Brett Rybiski, Trea Raymond, and Taylor Raymond.      A celebration of her life will be held at First United Pentecostal Church, Trumann, Arkansas, Saturday, October 28, 2023. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m., service to follow at 12:00 noon. Reverend Chad Batson and Reverend Murry Ray will officiate.  Burial will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery,Harrisburg, Arkansas.      In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Emmanuel Hospice, 401 Hall St. SW #263, Grand Rapids, MI, 49503.      An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneral home.net
