Larry Dennis Runyan of Trumann departed this life Sunday, July 30, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 18 days. He was born February 12, 1948 in Rector, AR to the late Lester Runyan and Ethelene Brandon Runyan. He was a “Jack of all trades”. He was owner of L & W Flea Market and Auction, a school bus driver, gas station owner, worked at Craighead Electric and ran a Jonesboro Sun route. He loved junk-in and was a NASCAR enthusiast. He was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and his parents.       He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Runyan, a son, Wesley Runyan both of the home; three sisters, Barbara (Dennis) Farmer of Marmaduke, AR, JoAnn Diehold of Phoenix, AZ and Linda Young of Choctaw OK.       The family will receive friends Thursday, August 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, AR. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel with the Rev. Darrel Miller and Rev. Nathan Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro.      Active Pallbearers are: Corey Overstreet, Denny Ward, William Runyan, Wendell Hart, Richard Wright, Markus Lamar, Ernest Campbell and Clarence Parrish.     Uncle Larry, I don't think I ever knew you drove a school bus. So maybe that's why I do it now and love it. You have forever been my favorite uncle. I love you and will miss you forever. However I know your body is no longer in pain and you are once again whole. I'm so glad that last day I visited you that you were sassy enough to know I was there, and were able to stick your tongue out at me and do our selfie picture. I smile just thinking of that. I have many wonderful memories of you that I will cherish for the rest of my life. But our selfie pictures are the ones that make me laugh. May you rest in peace now Uncle Larry and know you are missed and loved by so many people. I love you!
