Sarah Jane Burris of Trumann, departed this life Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the Three Rivers Health and Rehab in Marked Tree, AR at the age of 94 years, 5 months and 5 days. She was born Thursday, January 31, 1929 in Elkins, AR to the late Denzel and Hazel Gabbard. She had lived the last 29 years in the Trumann area and was formerly of California. She loved quilting, sewing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Burris, a son Ralph E. Burris, three sisters, two brothers, and her parents.      She is survived by  her daughter, Carol (Joe) Waleszonia of Trumann, AR; her son, Dennis (Pam) Burris of Grass Valley, CA; her sister Glannis King of Fayetteville, AR; 6 grandchildren, Ronnie (Liz) Burris, Alyson Burris, Jody (Ashlee) Waleszonia, Amy Waleszonia, Tiffany (John) Zorich, Anthony (Karyn) Roth;  13 great-grandchildren, Emily Burris, Bella Ray, Joseph Waleszonia, Jacob Waleszonia, Karlee Waleszonia, Sarah Halfacre, Anna Waleszonia, Jane Merkle, Ethan Zorich, Tyler Roth, Brandon Roth, Nathan Bingham, and Emma Bingham; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Kensley Jane Blake.       The family will receive friends Sunday, July 9th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. John Maley officiating.
