Angie Meeker
February 11, 1933 - April 13, 2023

Angie Lee Meeker of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 2 days.  She was born Saturday, February 11, 1933 in Mountain View, AR and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  She was retired from Trumann Middle School where she worked in the cafeteria and was a member of First General Baptist Church. Angie loved taking good care of her yard.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Meeker; one son, Timothy Lee Meeker; several brothers and sisters; and her parents, Benny and Vinie Hale Wilson.            She is survived by one son, Larry (Anita) Meeker of Trumann, one daughter, Jeanette (Carl) Henson of Mountain Home, AR; five grandchildren, DeWayne, Christopher, Angela, T.J. and Anna;  6 great-grandchildren; 8 brothers and 5 sisters.       The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14th from 12:30 to 1:30 at  Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Darrel Miller officiating.   Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.          In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.          An online register book can be signed at www. thompsonfuneralhome.net

    Jeanette & Larry I am so sorry to hear of Angie’s passing. I loved her dearly. She was such a warm, wonderful, loving person. I’m so glad that we were able to see her last fall when we were in Arkansas. She always seemed so genuinely pleased to see us, she made us feel so welcome. Love to all of you.
