Carolyn “Carol” Kay Ragsdale of Bay departed this life Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 11 days.  She was born Thursday, November 20, 1952 in Dowagiac, MI and lived in Bay for 45 years.  She was retired from Colson Caster and of the Pentecostal faith.  Carolyn loved making jewelry and collecting Murano glass.  She was preceded in death by one brother, James Armstrong, one sister, Linda Sims and her parents, Bill Armstrong and Mary Alice (Whitaker) Brown and Millard Brown. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Tony Ragsdale of the home; two daughters, Mary Kay Hastings of Bay, and Tammy Faulkner of Paragould; two brothers, Darrell (Melinda) Armstrong of Harrisburg, and Boyde Armstrong of Tupelo, MS; one sister, Sheri (Bill) Snider of Estill Springs, TN; and three grandchildren, Joey Horton, Katie Lynn Barkley, and Lexie Ragsdale.      Visitation will be Thursday  from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will be Friday, February 3rd at 2:30 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR. Pallbearers will be Bill Snider, Chris Snider, Tim Whitaker, David Whitaker, Carl Wilson, and Tim Albert.      In compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.
