     Mr. Jerry Ronald “Ronnie” Baxter of Trumann, departed this life, Monday, October 10, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 28 days.  He was born Wednesday, June 12, 1946 in Trumann, AR where he lived all his life.  He was a graduate of Trumann High School and he worked as a forklift driver at Singer and a custodian at Arkansas Glass.. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved attending services and singing gospel songs. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Earl Baxter and Rhoda Mattix Baxter.      He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte Blasingame Baxter; one sister, Suzanne (Danny) Thomas; three sisters-in-law, Nancy (Carl) White, Patsy (Thomas) Davis, Marlene (Floyd) Hancock; two brothers-in-law, Keith (Sheila) Blasingame, David (Margaret) Blasingame; two nephews, Joshua Baxter and Drew (Morgan) Thomas.      The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Ricky Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. Active pallbearers will be Keith Blasingame, Jamie Lyons, Michael McMullin, Darrell White, Drew Thomas, and Jan Morgan.
