William Harold Spencer
August 29, 1935 - September 30, 2022

     William “Bill” Harold Spencer of Arnold, Missouri departed this life on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, at the age of 87 years, 1month, and 1 day. Bill was born Friday, August 29, 1935, and grew up in Blytheville, AR.  He lived several years in Trumann, AR, then later moved to St. Louis in 1956. He was married to Velma Valentine Spencer for 67 years. He loved hunting, working outside, driving tractor, gardening and being outside to watch the visiting wildlife on his property.            Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Valentine Spencer; his parents, Hazel Spencer Webb and Howard Spencer.  He is survived by one daughter, Connie Spencer, two Shar Pei granddogs, Cooper and Tucker; one brother, Tommy Spencer of Blytheville, and many relatives and friends who loved him very much. A private burial for the family will be held at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas.           In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.           An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
