Sheila Dillinger
October 11, 1955 - June 29, 2022

Sheila Joyce Dillinger of Trumann departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the family residence in Trumann, AR at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 18 days.  She was born Tuesday, October 11, 1955 in Searcy and lived in Trumann for 37 years and was formerly of Judsonia.  Sheila was retired from the Trumann School District and was of the Pentecostal faith.  She loved her children, grandchildren, traveling and gardening and had yard of the month several years.    She was preceded in death by one brother, James Baker; and her parents, Toy and Ada Lucille Varner Cohorn.       She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Rick Dillinger of the home; three sons, James “Kenny” Stacks , Roy Lee Warden, and Rickey (Latisha) Dillinger all of Trumann; one daughter, Sherry Lynn (Al Miller) Doyle of Bay, AR; one sister, Judy Grant of Canon City, CO; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.       The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. John Dillinger officiating.  Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR.       Pallbearers will be Al Miller, Kenny Stacks, Roy Warden, Rickey Dillinger, James Stacks, Jr., and Heston O’Brien.  Honorary pallbearers are Joe Allred and Jonathan Warden.         Special thanks to Elite Hospice for all their support.       Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    Sheila was a sweet loving woman, she loved to talk about her children and grandchildren as often as you would listen. She always was so helpful to me in the beginning of my new job at Trumann School District. She will be greatly missed!
