Carolyn Sue Hoozer of Como, MS departed this life on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 22 days.  She was born Thursday, November 25, 1948 in McCormick, AR to the late Earl and Minny Baker and lived in Como, MS and was formerly of Trumann, AR.  Carolyn graduated from Trumann High School in 1968 and was of the Christian faith.  Carolyn was loving, kind and a sweet person and will be greatly missed.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Darlene Marshall and Virginia Henry; and two brothers, J L Baker, and Lonnie Ray Baker.       She is survived by two daughters, Marina Dawn (Lonnie) McKenzie of Como, MS, and Kristin Poff of Paragould, AR; two sons, Steve (Tabitha) Simons of Harrisburg, AR and Brandon (Veronica) Simons;  eight grandchildren, Dustin Simons, Dylan Poff, Carly Poff, Landon Roach, Madison Roach, Logan Simons, Lauren Simons, Brandi (Casey) Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Simons and Hadley Day; one sister, Patsy Mangrum; one brother, Buddy Baker.       Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Simons officiating.  Burial will be private.         In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional.       Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
