William Eddie Hill
October 19, 1947 - September 4, 2021

William Eddie Hill, Sr., of Trumann departed this life on Saturday, September 4th at the Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 16 days.  Mr. Hill was born Sunday, October 19, 1947 in Harrisburg, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of the Trumann and Harrisburg area.  He was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.  Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Darlene “Corky” Hill; two brothers, Richard Hill and James Hill and was the son of the late William Miles and Idell Davis Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by two daughters, Paula Kaye Olive and April Solis; two sons, Paul Hill and Eddie Hill Jr.; one sister, Mary Marie Rogers; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.       Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30 at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 in the chapel with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Jonesboro.       n compliance with Covid-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is optional and social distancing will be observed.     So very sorry to hear about Eddie. He was a very kind hearted man. We knew him from the dances in Jonesboro and Trumann. He lived to dance snd sing to the lady he danced with. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Prayers for peace and comfort fir his family and friends
