Pauline Carter
April 16, 1924 - November 17, 2020

Mrs. Pauline England Carter of Trumann, AR departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, AR at the age of 96 years, 7 months and 1 day.  She was born Wednesday,  April 16, 1924 in Wilson, AR and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann until 2012 when she moved to Paragould.  She.was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Hendrix “Henry” Carter; four daughters, Bonnie Jacobs, Joyce Moss, Sherry Harkey and infant Carter; and her parents, Avie and Mary Susie Jones  England. She is survived by two daughters, Connie Carter of Trumann, and Pam Pitcher of Paragould; one son, Billy Lloyd Carter of Germany; three half-brothers, Jimmy Grant of Florida, Leroy England and Ray England  both of Arkansas; one half-sister Kathy Matthews of Louisiana; 17 grandchildren,  35 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.       A Graveside service will be Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Willis Cemetery near Harrisburg, AR with Jeff Miles officiating.  Burial will follow under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be required along with face masks.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net

    Remembering all the good times at granddaddy and grandmother Maxwells house with your mom down at Truman. She particularly loved aggravating my brother Edgar. I’m sorry we lost touch over the years but found memories of her with the family. So sorry for your loss.
