Sue Owens
December 24, 1935 - November 4, 2020

Mrs. Eva Sue Owens of Trumann departed this life on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Granbury, TX at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 11 days.  She was born Tuesday,December 24, 1935 in Trumann and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.  Sue was a bank  teller for 37 years retiring from Bank of Trumann and was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Aubrey Owens; 2 sisters, 3 brothers and her parents, Walter and Maggie Barton Heath.        She is survived by two sons, Mark (Sonja) Owens of Granbury, TX and Gary (Denise) Owens of Jonesboro, AR; one brother, Earl Heath; one sister, Mickey (Jimmy) Stotts of Trumann, AR; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that loved her.       The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. David Smith officiating.   Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.               In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be required along with face masks and the signing of a COVID-19 form.       An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
