Lonnie L Taylor
October 12, 1942 - October 19, 2020

Mr. Lonnie L. Taylor of West Memphis departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2020, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 78 years and 7 days. He was born Monday, October 12, 1942 in Monette, AR and lived in West Memphis since 1969. He was self employed accountant, a veteran of the Army National Guard and a member of Trinity In The Fields Anglican Church in Marion.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leon and Berlie Louise May Taylor.       He is survived by his wife of 53 years,  Lavonda Downey Taylor of the home; one son, Bryan (Heather) Taylor of Maumelle, AR; and three sisters, Norene (Joe) Sims of Searcy, AR, Karen (Marvin) Burrell of Camden, AR and Debbie (Len) Ware of Jonesboro, AR.       The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Trinity In the Fields Anglican Church in Marion, AR.  A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Father Horace Tipton, Father Samson Gitau, Father Chuck Filatreau, and Father Paul McLain officiating.   Burial will follow in Nichols Cemetery in Marked Tree, AR.       Pallbearers are John Baioni, John Bramucci, Mark Felker, Mike Ford, Maxie Keith, Andy Luttrell, and Buddy Northcutt.  Honorary pallbearers are members of Lonnie‘s hunting club, Wa Ke’ Da Bowmen: Joe Davis, Bill Faverty, Dan Faverty, Rusty Peters, Corey Peters, Bob Turner and Travis Turner.       In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face masks will be required along with the signing of a COVID-19 form.       Lasting memorials can be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E Matthews, Jonesboro, AR  72401.         Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
