Sue Ann Speakes

Mrs. Sue Ann Speakes of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at  NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 26 days. She was born Sunday, November 17, 1940 in Joplin, MO  and had lived in Trumann since 1964. She was a retired office manager for the former Rose Care Nursing Center and of the Baptist faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Joe Speakes one brother, George Stockam and her parents, Chester and Laura Mae Hailey Stockam.      She is survived by one daughter, Kate Large of Aurora, CO, two sons, Ricky (Brenda) Speakes and Randy Lee Speakes; six grandchildren, Jesse (Courtney) Kukolvic, Joshua Thomas, Caleb Speakes, Perry Heavener, Matt Brown and Blane Williams and 3 great-grandchildren.      Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home, with Rev. Glen Hurst and Bro. Mark Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree, AR.       Online guest book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.      In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to Fundafamily on the Thompson Funeral Home website.
