Clifford Lynn Richardson
July 9, 1937 - April 1, 2019

Mr. Clifford “Cliff” Richardson of Trumann departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 23 days. Mr. Richardson was born Friday, July 9, 1937 in and a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by one son, Bo Richardson; and his parents, Lynn and Chlora Glass Richardson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Olivia Boyd Richardson of the home; four daughters, Vicki (Tip) Shipp of Trumann; Cheryl (Sam) Lee of Lake City, AR, Rita (Hal Howard) Byers of Daphne, AL, Nita (Tom) Cabaniss of Foley, AL; one daughter-in-law, Shelli (Bo) Richardson of Lake City, AR; one brother Eugene Richardson of Trumann; nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Royce Schanda officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR. Pallbearers will be Tom Cabaniss, Hal Howard, Tip Shipp, Mike Hamilton, Rodney Stotts, Jimmy Stotts and Sam Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Byers, Seth Hartleroad, Sammy Lee, Dillon Reinhard, Ben Chapman, Jarred Hagood, Jake Gilley, Bob Stotts, and Jim Stotts. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. Memorials can be made to National Wildlife Federation, P.O. Box 1583, Merrifield, VA 22116-1583.     You all are in my prayers. He was the sweetest man and I am humbled by the fact that he wanted me to care for him his last days I will never forget him or any of you. After 26 years of nursing your family made me realize why I went into nursing in the first place. He took time out of his dying process to tell me thank you. Thank you all for the privilege of being there with you all thee last few visits .

    I can't explain how important a role Clifford played in my life. He was such an inspiration, such an accomplished man with the determination to succeed. He will sorely be missed.
