Mrs. Mary Emma Parrish was born on Sunday, February 17, 1924, daughter of the late William Sylvester and Mary Ola Ribron Chauncey. Mrs. Parrish died Monday, January 29, 2007 at the family residence, at the age of 82. She was born in Fargo, Ga., and had lived in Trumann for 34 years and was formerly Seattle, Wash. She was a homemaker and a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her husband, Cletis Elmo

    Mrs. Parrish was the best cook! When I was a guest in her home, I was treated to one of the best meals of my life. She made so many delicious, homemade dishes that they covered the table. My deepest sympathies to my Aunt Sharon and her family.

    barbara,harry,c.j.and melanie I just wanted to tell you how very sorry I am about mary. She was a very special lady to me and my family. I can remember as a child her and Bo at chuch always smiling and encouraging everyone. They were both very Godly people and loved each one of you very much. Me and Tisha was talking about how them and Grandma and Grandpa were such good friends, we can just see them now. If there's anything that we can do for you just let us know. We'll keep you in our prayers Melanie and C.J. because we know what it's like to loose such wonderful grandparents. But just think someday you could see them again!
